On May 28 and 29, 2014, the case of John Doe v. Arturo Bravo was tried to the court at New Britain Superior Court in New Britain, Connecticut. The case involves a claim by a young man that he was sexually molested by his great uncle when he was a much younger boy. The case was tried before Judge Trial Referee, Joseph Shortall. The trial featured several witnesses including two other men who testified that they were also sexually molested by the defendant when they were young boys.
